Handcrafted pots from village hands
@HOME is a unique shop with imported home decor from Asia. I was born in the Congo and spent every summer in Belgium. Growing up in the Congo was one of the best periods of my life. Surrounded by wildlife, nature, sun, and the locals has taught me many things. At the age of 11, we moved to South Africa. Once again, I was surrounded by diversity and all the different cultures. And so my passion for interior design began. In 2005, I moved to London, where I continued doing what I love. My work got noticed and was awarded 3 prizes. In 2017, I decided that it was once again time for a new challenge and moved to Asia, so that I could broaden my possibilities and work with new products.
We didn't set out to build a business. We set out to fill our own home with pieces that had a past. That difference matters. Every pot and lamp here was shaped by hand, in a village that has done this for generations, and it carries that quiet history into your living room.
From the start, we knew we didn't want to sell flat, mass-made things. We wanted pieces with a story, shaped by hands that have done this for generations. So we travel to the villages where the clay is dug and the wool is spun, and we bring back what speaks to us. That is our mission: not to fill shelves, but to help you fill your home with warmth that was never made in a hurry.
